April 2025 Overview

We are now getting a sneak peek into the Neptune in Aries cycle. The last time Neptune transited this sign was the 1860s (the Civil War occurred in the United States). Neptune in Aries is about the embodiment of possibilities. In essence–it’s a time where what’s in the spirit can manifest into the physical. Exciting, right? But of course, we have to remember that this planetary influence is available for both those of the Light AND those of the Dark.

We’ll be under the influence of this transit for about 14 years–half of a Saturn cycle. As I’ve mentioned in the 2025 Astrology Report, the new Neptune cycle won’t officially begin until 2026; however, this year is a foreshadowing of what’s to come. While nothing is set in stone, we are essentially given a chance to get a ‘head start’ and stack the cards in our favor. And in the midst of all of this, the South Node in Virgo is exposing and liberating hidden elements thwarting our goals while the North Node in Pisces is exposing and challenging the truth of our lives, whether positive or negative.

As you can see with the current political climate globally, the Dark is well-prepared and is moving ahead with their objectives, creating havoc and destruction in the process. Those in the Light have their marching orders and/or are getting called now to step up, focus, and stand ten toes down on holding the Light as well as gaining ground. Saturn, Mars, and Uranus kick off the month all in sextile to one another, followed by Sun sextile Jupiter, all of which support organizing, self-motivation, and risk-taking. Mercury and Venus also go direct, finally clearing the cobwebs in our sense of self. We will likely have a key moment when we are forced to confront authority and embrace our own power when Mars opposes Pluto at the end of the month.

All in all, this month will reveal the truth of who we are, ask us to deal with what we see, and provide us the insight and time to make changes where necessary.

Working with the moon cycle

Every moon cycle can be divided into 4 phases:

New moon - Use these first 7 days to rest more by keeping your schedule light and prioritize extra time with Spirit.
Waxing moon - Over these 7 days you’ll notice that your motivation and momentum increases. Take action in pursuit of your goals!
Full moon - These 7 days will give you peak energy and drive. This is great for social activities like events, meetings, etc.
Waning moon - These final 7 days are best for knocking out the “To Do” list and strategizing.

Aries Moon Cycle (March 29th - April 26th)

The Aries cycle provides us the opportunity to become intimately aware of our instinctual nature. If you’ve ever wondered or struggled with the nature of your intuition, then this cycle will make it directly apparent to you. This journey will reinforce the relationship you have with your soul & your body which are continually perceiving and sending information about the environment and what you’re encountering. The information is there to support your ability to make informed decisions about the actions to take. Know that feeling ‘off’ or defensive or any other negative emotion when dealing with a person, place, or situation is not baseless, rather it is rooted in external cues and internal assessment. The same holds true for feelings of flow, peace, and easy vulnerability. When you operate in a healthy relationship with your intuition, you live an authentic life. This is your power and what the archetype of Aries holds in remembrance.

Taurus Moon Cycle (April 27th - May 25th)

The archetype of Taurus represents our physical bodies, Nature, material possessions, activities or things that bring pleasure, and money. In true Taurus fashion, this smorgasbord of options is available for us to explore what we can do to create an experience of abundance. Restriction isn’t a ‘thing’ for Taurus so don’t approach this cycle from an either/or perspective, e.g. I can either focus on this or that. Rather, address it all! Wear (or purchase) clothing that feels luxurious/or and conveys luxury. Get the most delicious dish at that restaurant. Use decadent creams and oils on your body; wear the expensive fragrance. Start a garden. Spend time at the park. Upgrade your stuff - phone, laptop, shoes…. Get a massage. And don’t forget to put some of the extra money away into your savings (liquid assets).

Mercury in Aries (March 3rd - May 9th; Retrograde March 14th - April 6th)

Personal Insight

When Mercury--the planet that rules communication, perception, and thinking--leaves the heavy, watery depths of Pisces and enters the creative and instinctual clarity of Aries, it is as though a fog clears. We get a reprieve from the mental swings and can now take the wisdom and apply it to the new ideas that are guaranteed to spring forth during this transit. That wisdom gained from the transit through the elder Pisces sign helps us to sift through the inspired thoughts that Aries brings and determine which would be pursuits that require long-term investment and which would be for creative expression.

Business Insight

Mercury’s transit through Aries is great for neutralizing second-guessing and sabotaging beliefs. The fire of Aries makes decision-making exceptionally clear and direct… and most importantly, authentic to the integrity of the vision for the business. If you’ve been going back and forth on anything, this will be the transit to support courageous action. On the flip side, watch out for off-the-cuff communication styles. There is not much ‘polish’ with this transit so take a break before any heightened emotional exchange - whether excitement or frustration.

Venus in Aries (February 3rd - June 4th Retrograde: March 1st - April 11th)

Personal Insight

Venus’ transit through Aries signals an activation of new soul power. Think of this as a dam that gets blasted open allowing the waters to flow freely - in truth, back to their original state. There can be a surge of power, vitality, courage, and inspiration that you get to experience at this time. Write down everything that comes through your intuition. You have the potential to vision AND manifest rapidly so lean into what your soul is telling you is opening up just for you. Say YES.

Business Insight

Venus in Aries can be a boon to a business. Depending on where this is occurring in the chart will tell you where your business may have a miraculous flow. This transit is the reminder that you have what you need “in house” and that you’re fully capable of forging ahead; as a consequence this is not the time to have too many cooks in the kitchen! Keep within the bounds of the business and lean into its areas of strength. Where does the business shine? Amplify there!

Mars in Leo (Nov 3rd - Jun 17th; Retrograde Dec 6th - Feb 23rd)

Personal Insight

Mars in Leo brings a maturing energy to the divine masculine principle within each of us. As Leo is ruled by the Sun, a strong source of courage and confidence is provided by this transit. We just have to be careful not to become haughty! Use Mars in Leo to quiet the inner saboteur that seeks to talk you out of making beneficial decisions for yourself or for continuing to pursue your goals. Push through the fear--without taking unnecessary risks--and go after what you want. Be sure to play as hard as you work, otherwise you’ll become resentful. Also, take pride in your appearance. This is a transit to show up and show out!

Business Insight

Mars transiting Leo puts the focus on you as the business owner. Here’s where your focus must be to see business growth. Business is also done between people even in product-based enterprises. Amplifying the person ‘behind the brand’ is a key component of any business’ success in our interconnected world. Center your humanity--let people see who you are in your marketing. Attend events, especially ones led by other leaders who are further along the path than you. Put yourself out there and be seen!
